Reliability Assessment of NPP Safety Class Equipment Considering the Manufacturing Quality Assurance Process

Quality and safety are intensely related go hand in hand. of the safety-grade equipment is very important for a nuclear power plant (NPP) achieving production goals. During manufacturing components or equipment, deviation from design might occur at different stages various reasons, such as lack skilled manpower, materials, human errors, malfunction violation procedure, etc. These deviations can be assessed cautiously taken into consideration final analysis report (FSAR) before issuing an operating license. In this paper, we propose Bayesian belief network quality assessment class NPPs with few examples. The proposed procedure holistic approach estimation failure probability considering errors. Case studies safety-class dry transformers reactor pressurizers employing method also presented article. This study provides insights probabilistic engineers regulators improved NPP safety.
